An e-commerce agency designs, builds and grows online stores, from the storefront and product pages to checkout, conversion optimisation and email marketing. ©r2studio is an e-commerce agency in Munich and Tokyo and a Shopify Partner, building direct-to-consumer stores that are engineered to sell and to keep customers, not just to display products.
Introduction
An e-commerce agency is judged on one thing: does the store sell. That takes more than a good-looking storefront. It takes conversion-focused design, a frictionless checkout and retention that brings customers back.
We build commerce as founders who have sold our own products, so every store is built to earn.
What an e-commerce agency does
An e-commerce agency takes an online store from concept to a selling shop and keeps improving it. That covers platform setup, store and theme design, the key templates like product and cart, conversion optimisation, email marketing flows and tracking. A strong agency builds a store as a system for selling and retaining customers. For our approach, see our guide on how to build a webshop that sells.
Built to sell and to retain
Two things drive e-commerce profit: converting more visitors and keeping more customers. We focus on the templates where revenue is decided and on the email flows that turn first-time buyers into repeat customers. For the detail, see our articles on e-commerce CRO and email flows that drive revenue.
How ©r2studio works
We are a boutique design and technology studio in Munich and Tokyo and a Shopify Partner. We build direct-to-consumer stores on Shopify, from a refit of an existing shop to a full custom build to a commerce platform with custom features. Every store comes with conversion setup, Klaviyo email flows and tracking.
Because we are founders, we build stores that are designed for outcomes, not just a nice storefront, and set up so you can run and grow them after launch.
What we build
From a refit that lifts an existing store, to a full custom Shopify build, to a commerce platform on Shopify Plus, with optional extensions like configurators or subscriptions. Each includes conversion work, email flows and a clear path to keep growing revenue.
Getting started
The best first step is a short conversation about your products, your goals and where your current store leaves revenue on the table. From there we recommend the right scope, with a fixed price and timeline.
